Spain knows the "Roadmaps for Energy" project of the City of Murcia (14/04/2016)

Councilman Administration Modernization, Urban Quality and Participation, Jose Guillen, attended the National Congress Smart Energy Smart Energy Congress & Expo 2016, being held in Madrid and in which the Local Agency for Energy and Climate Change Murcia has presented its project

Under the title 'Designing the city we need', has shown a summary of the work that the city of Murcia is being carried out under the European Project Horizon 2020, roadmaps for Energy.

The presentation focused on the definition and design of services should offer the city of Murcia in the period to its citizens under the Smart City approach.

This project will also develop roadmaps to projects and specific actions which must be put to achieve this desired transformation in our city of Murcia.

Councilman Jose Guillen explained that "one of the fundamental aspects of this project that has attracted most attention during the congress, is its innovativeness in approach made to encourage citizen participation. In this way, the project based on participatory workshops and integrators collects input from technical experts in municipal policy areas of energy saving, and municipal policy makers, private companies, universities and local associations, among others. "

Finally participation in this conference has served for the City of Murcia, through ALEM narrow ties with other cities and national and international companies and serve to exchange experiences and knowledge.
