["Nobody behind the wheel in the Murcia City Council" (03/03/2021)

| We can consider that Murcians and Murcian people do not deserve "the unfortunate spectacle" that the two parties that support the municipal government are starring in | "We are witnessing a multi-act drama that never ends, because ego, partisanship and self-interest rule us." From the purple formation, its spokesperson, Ginés Ruiz Maciá, accuses the Popular Party and Citizens of "causing irreparable damage to this municipality by having turned its back on management and good government." We can regret that the mandate is escaping with these fights while solutions are not taken to other vital issues for the municipality.

"There is no mobility project, we breathe poor quality air, the districts are still abandoned, the vaccines are administered irregularly, the third sector entities do not provide enough to serve the thousands of families in a precarious situation ...

This is not can tolerate, it is time to turn around municipal politics and put people back at the center, and govern for them, thinking about the problems of the people, not those of the Government.

" The news that appeared in the press due to the complaint filed by the PP of Murcia against the Citizens' spokesperson put on the table an issue that the local government has dragged on since the mandate began, "that we are facing an unprecedented misgovernment." For Ginés Ruiz Maciá, this coalition "which is a mistake from the beginning, will go down in history as the most regrettable that we can remember." The spokesman for the municipal group considers that "this government is not that it is broken, it is that it has never existed" and they believe that, if they do not have the way to understand each other, it is time to break it definitively and save ourselves the shame that we are going through before the continuous spectacle that star both one and the other.

"Ruiz Maciá recalled that this is not the only sum that allows the governance of the municipality,"There is an alternative that can put the interests of citizens once and for all ahead of parties and partisan struggles.

We will always bet on the project that seeks to improve the lives of Murcians." Citizens report irregularities in the hiring of the City Council, the Popular Party complains to Mario Gómez accusing him of infidelity in the custody of public documents.

The Mayor does not speak to the Vice Mayor, or only speaks to him to throw poisoned darts at him, and he tells him in a plenary session that he is the worst mayor in the history of the municipality; "Meanwhile, the public continues to struggle to arrive the next day, and begins to see the City Council as part of the problem, and unable, in any case, to provide solutions.

If all this is not enough to break the agreement, we do not know what more has to happen for them to show that they do not understand each other and that they cannot continue to act as if they govern together.

" If all this were not enough, the same day we learned that the UDEF, by order of the Prosecutor's Office, is investigating the contracts of various councils since 2015, for possible splitting of contracts and finger awards.

A PP that has wanted to present itself as different from the one that starred in the biggest corruption scandals of this City Council, and that in reality is nothing more than the same client network management machinery destined to perpetuate itself in power, while presenting election after election the same projects that they never develop, and that respond to a model of municipality that begins and ends in the urban area. From Podemos, its spokesperson insists that "a municipality that is managed as always, and for the usual, is not going to become, by itself, a municipality that deals with the problems of its people; change the model of municipality and government team ".
