| The number of subsidized vehicles in the 2020 register grows, which has allowed Murcians to save more than 4.6 million euros | Today ends the voluntary period of payment of the tax on mechanical traction vehicles consisting of 292,883 receipts for an amount of 25,117,874.41 euros.Of the total tax objects (347,041), 22,797 are exempt or non-subject vehicles (for the transfer of people with disabilities, agricultural, health, urban buses ...), 205 more than in the past yearIn addition, 36,277 are subsidized vehicles with 30%, 75% or 100% (ecological, electrical or historical), 1,580 more than in 2019.This has meant a total saving for taxpayers of 4,681,133.49 euros.The Municipal Tax Agency has offered the possibility of direct debiting the payment of the 2020 Traction Vehicle Tax in 1 term (charge on account April 20) or in 2 installments (charges March 23 and April 20).From the total amount of the approved register, at the beginning of the voluntary payment period, domiciled receipts amounting to 9,604,007.30 euros were found and included in a Personalized Payment Plan, 807,369.62 euros.Likewise, the councilor for Citizen Security and Economic Management, Eduardo Martínez-Oliva, recalled that "Murcians have at their disposal the Personalized Payment Plan of up to 12 months without interest, a special payment system that allows them to pay receipts list of its main taxes and periodic collection rates (Vehicles, IBI, IAE and Rates) in the payment method they choose (monthly, bimonthly, quarterly or annually), taking effect from the 2021 exercise if they request it from now and until next December 1st ".In addition, "the Municipal Tax Agency offers payment facilities to all citizens and companies that are not up to date with their tax obligations to the City Council in order to promote the maintenance of their tax benefits," the councilman concluded.
