The Municipal Library Network of Murcia is finalizing the preparations for the resumption of the face-to-face service (31/05/2020)

| The councilor for Urban Agenda and Open Government, Mercedes Bernabé, has visited the Cabezo de Torres Library to check the work of installing partitions that she is carrying carried out in the Information and Loan Service | The Municipal Library Network of Murcia (RMBM) offers an adequate space for the development of academic, training and cultural activities, in order to cover all the reading needs of citizens.In this way, the service completes all the preparations for the resumption of face-to-face care, a device that began a few weeks ago with the cleaning and disinfection work and continued with the conditioning of the spaces with all the security measures.The councilor for Urban Agenda and Open Government, Mercedes Bernabé, has visited the Cabezo de Torres Library to check the bulkhead installation work that is being carried out in the Information and Loan Service."Our objective is to guarantee maximum security, which is why we are working and finalizing each of the measures in detail so that Murcians can once again enjoy these spaces in a safe and calm way," explains the mayor.64 protective screens for all branchesSpecifically, 64 protective screens will be provided for the 18 branches of the network in order to guarantee the security of the service against the Covid-19, both for citizens and for library staff.The protection measures are completed with the provision of masks, disinfectant gel, gloves and adhesive strips printed on the floor to mark the established physical distance or highlight the circulation circuits.To control access, the circulation of entry and exit has been indicated in libraries where space has been possible, and in those where the area is narrower, users are instructed to yield.The public libraries of the RMBM that will resume the face-to-face service in the coming days are: Beniaján Library, Cabezo de Torres Library, Pelagio Ferrer Library (El Palmar), El Puntal Library, El Raal Library, Guadalupe Library, Javalí Nuevo Library, La Library Pool, La Ñora Library, Saavedra Fajardo Library, El Carmen Library, Espinardo Library, José Saramago Library, Río Segura Library, San Basilio Library, Santiago el Mayor Library, Puente Tocinos Library, Antonio Botías Chronicler Library (Sangonera la Verde).eBiblio and eFilm, available to everyoneThe Municipal Network of Libraries of Murcia (RMBM) reminds Murcia that they have at their disposal through the eBiblio service the loan of electronic books, press and audiobooks.It is a technological platform, financed by the Regional Library and a project of the Ministry of Culture and Sports, which allows access to works in digital format to be able to read them on different devices: tablets, smartphones, personal computers or compatible electronic book readers.
