We seek to recover the pulse and drive of the Carmen neighborhood ".In this way, various proposals have been discussed at the meeting, such as valuing the Artillery Barracks as an element for articulating the cultural life of the neighborhood, improving the provision of spaces for artistic and cultural disciplines, promoting the development of activities by the cultural fabric and associative, improve the possibilities of collaboration of the associations of the cultural sector, and take advantage of the cultural programming promoted by the administration and the associative fabric as an element of dynamism and development for the neighborhood.Likewise, it has been informed of the project 'Cultural reagents' that, through the' Barracks Line.

Creative Production Pavilions' will allow giving impulse to citizen laboratory projects like those that have been developed within the Urban DNA.The purpose of this line is to support projects based on citizen participation, which address challenges related to coexistence in neighborhoods, childhood in the city, street play, quality of life, loneliness and cultural diversity, among others.

, being able to reach 5,000 euros per project.Up to 7,500 euros will also be supported, urban innovation projects related to mobility, critical urban intervention and experimental architectural projects for the improvement of public space.As for the Artistic Laboratory of Carmen, spaces will be created so that associations can develop their projects.Another of the proposals made by the neighbors and that is going to be studied is the start-up of a summer cinema in a plaza, in a small format and for a limited number of people.In addition, work is being done to create a neighborhood corporate identity and a specific website with the neighborhood's cultural agenda.Another of the agreed actions is the recovery in the coming months of 'Los cafés del Carmen', some itinerant tables in which the residents can make their proposals to improve the neighborhood, which will then be carried out by the groups and the City Council.
