The Councilor for Sustainable Development and Huerta, Antonio Navarro, today visited the works consisting of the rehabilitation of the existing supply network in the Alamo, Abeto streets and part of the Los Rectores Urbanization University Park Street in the village of El Puntal .
The planned investment to carry out the works is 129,138.70 euros.
Both in the drafting phase of the project and during the completion of the work, permanent contact has been maintained with the neighbors in order to keep them informed at all times.
"The current conduction of drinking water has an important degree of obsolescence, in addition to running through the inner courtyards of the houses of the Parque Universidad street that complicates the maintenance of the network," explained the councilor.
The facilities planned to carry out the works consist of the extension to 305 ml of the supply network, the replacement of 49 household connections and the installation of 9 sectioning valves for grid meshing and 5 registration wells.
As for the replacement of the pavement, 1,060 m2 of asphalt agglomerate and 74.2 m2 of pavers will be used.
