Tango rhythms in Murcia (19/02/2020)

More and more activities, classes, dances and events that can be attended.

The goal of all of them is to discover and enjoy this beautiful art, qualified as intangible heritage of humanity.

Specifically, this Friday, February 21, at 9:00 p.m., the dance floor is reopened.

A milonga, beyond a style of music of the tango family, with a more moving rhythm, refers to an event in which tango, Creole valsecito and milonga (proper) are danced.

In this case, we refer to the milonga "La Bonica", which is held on the first and third Friday of each month at the "Trébol Center", located on Isla Cristina Street, 12 (Atalayas).

"La Bonica" is a space open to the public, anyone who wishes to listen or dance tango has the opportunity to take their first steps.

It is a milonga made by everyone and for everyone (as indicated on their Facebook page, "It is nobody's and is everyone's").

This Friday 21, in addition, "La Bonica" acquires an Argentine dye that makes it special.

The "Libertango" academy has succeeded in bringing a famous Argentine tango to teach during February and March: Pablo Martínez.

Pablo has more than 20 years of experience in the area of Tango Salón, Tango Escenario and Folklore Argentino.

In 2014 he became a finalist in the World Tango Championship in Buenos Aires.

In addition to having many international festivals and experience as a teacher in various European cities.

This renowned dancer will be teaching tango classes in Murcia during the last days of February and part of March.

His first lesson will take place before the opening of the milonga "La Bonica", on Friday 21 at 20:00.

Afterwards, he will continue offering various seminars and workshops in "Libertango".

It is not the first time that Argentine dancers come to Murcia to spread this art.

Irina Miró, director of the academy, has managed to bring other figures such as Pablo Martínez.

A few months ago (in December, to be exact), Julio Saavedra, another Argentine dancer had the opportunity to help the region's tango community with technical classes.

Irina Miró, an experienced tango dancer and director of the "Libertango" academy (Murcia), together with Julio Saavedra
