Innovaedum is ahead of Friday with talks in different parts of the city of Murcia (03/02/2020)

The City Council, through the Department of Education and Infantile Schools, directed by Belén López, collaborates with the Innovaedum Conference with a program of educational activities that will take place throughout the afternoon of next Friday, February 7, in different spaces from the city.

In this way, the program will begin with a concert by the CEIP Luis Costa choir, at 5.15 p.m., in the Cajamurcia Culture Classroom.

Then, from the Cierva Peñafiel school, at 6:15 p.m., a presentation by Salomé Recio Caride, a specialist teacher of Early Childhood Education will take place, who will show attendees some of their experiences carried out in the classroom.

The activities will continue at the Santa Clara Museum, at 7:00 p.m., with a talk by Jesús C. Guillén, neuroscientist and creator of the 'School with Brain' blog.

Also, the Archaeological Museum will host, at 7:45 p.m., a presentation by Xuxo Ruiz, finalist teacher at the Global Teacher Prize 2018, whose main thread will be magic.

Finally, from this same stage, the events will end with a concert by the group 'Rock in the School'.

"Innovation and education will be protagonists of various actions that will take place in different areas of our city throughout the afternoon, thus giving the opportunity to bring lectures and experiences of our classrooms to everyone," highlights the councilor Belén López.

Before the Innovaedum conference

The activities, which will take place on Friday in different parts of the city of Murcia with the collaboration of the City Council, will be the prelude to the IV Innovaedum Conference, organized by the Union of Directors of Infant and Primary Education of Murcia (Direcmur) and will take place on Saturday at the Víctor Villegas Regional Auditorium.

Thus, Murcia will be for a weekend Educational and Cultural Capital.

This year, this educational event will feature speakers of recognized prestige such as Francisco Mora, doctor of Medicine and Neuroscience, Jorge Ruiz, teacher of Audition and Language and vocalist of the Maldita Nerea group, Rosemary Alker, deputy director of the Department of Meteorology of Mediaset Spain and presenter del tiempo en Noticias Cuatro y Telecinco, Salva Espín, Murcia cartoonist from Marvel comics, Jesús Molina, professor at the University of Murcia, Itziar Mirana, Spanish actress and writer, and Rosa Liarte, professor specializing in new technologies.

There will also be José Antonio Fernández, director of the Conchita Sánchez Chair of Mathematical Education and professor at the Don Bosco Higher Education Center, and there will be experiences from different educational centers.

The organization of these days is thanks to the collaboration of the City Council and the Ministry of Education, as well as the sponsorship of Anaya and the collaboration of Edelvives, Melons the Grandfather, Office of the Segura, Asisa, Olivas Juan Fra, Edebé, Vía Nature, Azarbe Educational and Printing, among others.
