The University of Murcia brings knowledge to students of 4th ESO (26/11/2019)

The University of Murcia will receive on November 28 and 29 the visit of about two thousand students of the 4th year of Compulsory Secondary Education who will attend the first Faculty Fair organized by the institution, in which all the faculties will be present.

The event will take place in the parking lot of the University Social Center of the Espinardo Campus from 9 am to 1:30 pm.

The purpose of these visits is for high school students to have more information and guidance from the levels before the Baccalaureate for the choice of future educational itineraries.

It is also intended to publicize the broad spectrum of university studies, the different fields of knowledge and their applications, and possible job opportunities.

In the first Faculty Fair organized by the UMU, each faculty will have a space where professors and volunteer students will offer information on the different university degrees and will carry out activities and practical demonstrations related to each area of ​​knowledge.

Visitors will also take a guided tour of the Espinardo campus.

This is a pilot experience in which twenty-five secondary education centers in the Region of Murcia participate this year;

activity with which the University of Murcia completes its program of guided visits for students of 2nd Baccalaureate.

The activity is organized by the Vice Chancellor for Students and Services to the University Community through coordination with Secondary, and by the University Information Service, and in it all the faculties of the University of Murcia participate.
