In the early hours of this afternoon, 81 scholarships for rural and socio-sanitary practices corresponding to the 2018-2019 academic year for a total amount of 42,000 euros took place in the Rector's building of the University of Murcia.
The act has been chaired by Alicia Rubio, Vice Chancellor for Employment, Entrepreneurship and Society, who has been accompanied by Gaspar Ros and David Armero, deans of the faculties of Veterinary and Nursing respectively, as well as Pilar Almela, secretary of the Faculty of Medicine ;
Patricia Ramírez, Head of the Internal Regime Service of the Murcia Health Service, and Pedro Simón Cayuela, Coordinator of Nursing Practices of Cartagena.
The event was also responsible for the Employment Guidance and Information Service (COIE).
The participants congratulated the beneficiaries of the scholarships and expressed their wishes that these practices were the prelude to their professional dedication in their respective careers.
All participants highlighted the large percentage of scholarships obtained by women, who this year have obtained 70 percent of the aid.
