Several monuments and spaces in the city of Murcia are illuminated in blue on the occasion of World Diabetes Day.

Specifically, the Moneo Building, the Almudí Palace and Murcia Río will be illuminated to raise awareness about diabetes, a condition that is constantly increasing throughout the world.

The City Council thus responds to the call of the Murcia Association for Diabetes Care (Adirmu).

The ignition will also be recognized on the web where these initiatives are collected in which the most emblematic buildings around the world participate, such as worddiabetesday.org.
