The Councilor for Education and Infant Schools, Belén López Cambronero, has attended this morning the performance of the show 'Bitácora.

A musical notebook ', which is one of the novelties that have been incorporated into the Educational Offer of the City of Murcia' # MurciaMiCiudadEnseña 'for the 2019-2020 academic year.

This activity, organized in collaboration with the La Caixa Foundation, is offered in a cycle of four representations attended by 1,800 students of 6th Primary Education and 1st and 2nd Secondary Education of 29 schools in the municipality

Bitácora is a show that tells the story of a scientific submarine that studies the sounds of the ocean;

lost in the immensity of the ocean, you must restart all your navigation systems to be able to return home.

The crew will have the only Bitácora tool, a musical notebook in which the instructions are detailed, in the form of music, for the submarine to sail again.

Councilwoman Belén López Cambronero has indicated that "with these didactic concerts, students approach music, from a didactic and playful perspective and offer teachers the opportunity to complement the musical training of their students with an activity that develops so much in the classroom, based on the pedagogical material available, as outside the classroom, through attendance at concerts. "

During the concert, schoolchildren will listen to a series of folk songs and melodies performed with electronic instruments, offering a series of content and ideas about sound, its evolution and the influence of technology on music.

The intention of this representation is to allow students to know electronic music, performed with instruments such as ewi, octavado, theremin ... through traditional songs of the North Sea and adapted by Xavier Lloses, offering a series of contents and ideas about sound, its evolution and the influence of technology in music.

The content is organizing in four blocks:

- Electronic Music: Man's concern to find new sounds: the goal has always been the same, a search for new ways to communicate with the sound.

- Instruments: Discover the evolution of old and current sound instruments and devices.

- Sound and listening: reflection on the primacy of sight over the ear and how the senses relate to each other.

- Everything sounds: Give some ideas for conscious listening.

A conscious listening is the path to understanding.

As a complement to this activity, Bitácora has a dossier available on the web https://www.educaixa.com/-/edu-bitacora with all the information of the work as well as a series of activities that are proposed independently for that teachers can dispose of them depending on the characteristics of their classrooms.

This material wants to offer stimuli and ideas to work in the classroom with online resources, videos and creative activities.

In addition, Bitácora also has a Spotyfy playlist created by the author for listening to music in some activities.

This show, through the following objectives, allows students to:

- Understand the sound, its evolution and the influence of technology on music

- Know the electronic music and some of the instruments with which it can be interpreted.

- Value significant elements of electronic music.

- Enjoy the experiences and artistic creations as a source of personal and social enrichment.
