The City Council has resumed this month the acts of constitution of its municipal boards.
Last week the government team of the Central West district was formed and yesterday the Sangonera La Seca took place.
In this way, the City Council continues with the process of constitution of the 67 municipal boards (including the pedigrees of La Murta and Cañada Hermosa) under the Department of Pedanías y Barrios, which is directed by Marco Antonio Fernández Esteban.
Diego Aviles was last week appointed president of the Municipal Board of the Central West District of Murcia, during an act chaired by the mayor of Murcia, José Ballesta.
On the other hand, Ana Romero Torres was named yesterday president of the hamlet of Sangonera La Seca.
The Councilor for Citizen Security and Economic Management, Eduardo Martínez-Oliva, was responsible for presiding over the event.
The process of constitution of meetings continues tonight with Baños and Mendigo and Valladolises.
In this way, 587 people will be part of the municipal boards of these bodies whose main functions are the maintenance, conservation, repair and replacement of municipal infrastructure and buildings.
Likewise, they have the powers of promotion and dissemination of sports, social and cultural activities, as well as serve as transmitters of information between the town hall and the neighbors.
