The first copy shop attended and managed by people with disabilities opens in Murcia (17/09/2019)

The place is on Enrique Villar street, between Plaza de la Merced and La Merced campus

It will offer online copy shop through its website with different collection points or home delivery

Four workers with special difficulties in finding employment, two women and two men, will attend from tomorrow in Murcia the first copy shop managed entirely by people with disabilities.

It is called CopiViva and is located at number 3 on Enrique Villar street, between the central square of Santo Domingo and the La Merced Campus of the University of Murcia.

The new store and stationery is an initiative of the Feycsa Special Employment Center, promoted by associations of people with intellectual disabilities of full inclusion Region of Murcia.

CopiViva will offer an innovative online copy service on its website - also attended by its workers - to order the copying and binding of works that, once prepared, can be picked up at the premises, at other collection points or even at the home itself .

In addition, the premises will serve to bring to the public the agendas and personalized stationery items of the Labor Viva brand that are also made by people with disabilities and whose sale reverts entirely in the maintenance of the more than 60 workers of Labor Viva.

The four CopiViva workers have prepared with great effort for their new responsibilities and have obtained professional certificates certified by the Regional Employment and Training Service (SEF) with which they have specialized in reprography, binding, customer service and web design , among other competitions.

Now, they have the opportunity to demonstrate everything they have learned and their capabilities in a store that will be an inclusive space and a showcase for all Murcian society.

The Feycsa Special Employment Center that promotes this project is a company created with the objective of creating employment for people with disabilities.

Behind it are four family associations, non-profit NGOs: Asido Cartagena, Assido, Astrade and Astrapace.

All of them are members of the Federation including the Murcia region, the largest organization of intellectual disability and development in the region and throughout Spain.
