The orange warning for heavy rains remains until 20.00 today (27/08/2019)

Different municipal services, coordinated by Local Police, are working to minimize the effects of heavy rains during this afternoon in the municipality.

In some points, as in Ronda Sur, 27 liters per square meter have been collected in 20 minutes.

Continuous rainfall has forced the closure of different roads in order to guarantee the safety of users such as the Rambla de Churra, the subway of Beniaján, the Sucina road with Avileses in the Peraleja urbanization, the entrance to Joven Futura or the tunnel of The roll.

Currently they are affected by Public Transport:

- The Rambla de Beniaján and tunnel are cut off to traffic.

Route by detour on public transport lines 30 and 78.

- Marisol furniture a meter of water on the road.

Bus line 37 stopped in a safe place.

- Lightning 80 cannot pass through the stop José Marín Serna and Santiago el Mayor, it is diverted by Ronda Sur.

- Cut Rambla de Churra with effect on lines 1 and 50.

- Rambla de Espinardo cut with condition to line 44.

- Lightning 14 stopped by flooding of the Peńalver roundabout.

- Lines 21, 41, 42 and 44 without service by Miguel de Cervantes at the height of Carrefour Zaraiche.

For its part, 112 has managed until 17.00 a total of 26 incidents related to rain, none of them serious.

It is recommended not to use the car, not to park it in floodplains and waterways and to exercise caution on the road, increasing safety distance and decreasing speed, stopping in visible places if necessary.
