The City of Murcia, through the Department of Sustainable Mobility and Youth, is carrying out during this month of August tasks of hydraulic cleaning and repainting of horizontal signage on different roads and districts of Murcia.
Councilwoman Rebeca Pérez has visited the neighborhood of Vistabella, in Murcia, to supervise the works that are being carried out, within the road safety plan for the streets of the municipality.
"These water-cleaning tasks are normally carried out in those places where there is a high rate of road traffic, where there is alignment trees or also in the tunnels of the city," explains the mayor.
This treatment allows horizontal signals to have better functionality and be better perceived by users of public roads.
"In the places where the signs are very deteriorated we proceed to a repainting, as is the case this week of the actions that we have carried out in La Murta, Gea and Truyols or in Nonduermas," describes the mayor.
Over the next few months these measures will be extended to all neighborhoods and districts of the municipality of Murcia.
