The Department of Education and Municipal Schools, directed by Belén López Cambronero, is carrying out these weeks cleaning work in public schools in the municipality of Murcia in order to get them ready for the beginning of the school year.
Specifically, the facilities of a total of 116 centers are being checked and cleaned so that they are in their best conditions of use for the beginning of the course that is scheduled to begin on September 9.
The councilor has visited this morning the works that are being developed in the school of Our Lady of Tears of the Cabezo de Torres and Our Lady of the Rosary of La Cueva.
At the moment the works that are being undertaken this summer are practically finished or in its last phase of execution, so the four companies that provide the cleaning service (Limcamar, Sacry Facilities, Ferrovial Servicios y Técnicas y Servicios Integrales del Levante) They are doing an extraordinary cleaning in all schools.
"While the works are finished, we prepare our centers for the beginning of the course, leaving these spaces in perfect conditions for the teaching activity and with the greatest security for our students," says Belén López.
On these tasks, the Councilor for Education explains that the walls, ceilings, doors, furniture, window frames, radiators, screens and points of light are being dusted.
In addition, carpets and carpets are being cleaned with a vacuum machine and stain removal when necessary.
In toilets and services, a thorough disinfection will be carried out, using the most suitable products, not aggressive to the chrome taps.
All the units are being scrubbed and the windows, pipes, iron, wood and iron locks, ceilings, blinds, as well as the elements and materials found in classrooms and administrative areas are being cleaned.
