José Ballesta visited the new areas of the 'Murcia Río' river promenade that have recently been opened to the public, among which a new fruit tree garden that connects the Malecon promenade with the new river promenade, the Alameda garden and the Butte of the river.
'Murcia Río' has already put into service more than 50,000 square meters of new green areas and gardens, in which 1,000 trees have been planted that link the city with the Huerta.
Murcia can now enjoy more than 4.5 kilometers between bike lanes and naturalized walks, in the surroundings of 'Murcia River'.

The mayor of Murcia, José Ballesta, together with the Councilor for Urban Development, José Guillén, visited today the new garden of fruit trees that recreates the orchard of Murcia, connecting the Paseo del Malecón with the river;
action that completes the environment of the 'Murcia Río' river walk.
