The Councilor for Development will sign said collaboration agreement with HEI Miguel de Cervantes de Murcia and Aljada de Puente Tocinos
The first deputy mayor and responsible for Development, Mario Gómez, will sign an agreement for the cession of vehicle use so that the students of the IES Miguel de Cervantes de Murcia and Aljada de Puente Tocinos can have adequate material to complete their practical training.
In this sense, Mario Gómez has highlighted the importance of training in young people.
"Knowing the needs that educational centers may have, it is necessary that administrations work in a coordinated way to take advantage of public resources and offer them to all Murcia."
With the transfer of these six vehicles to be carried out by the City Council, three for each center, its useful life is extended by allocating it to training before its destination for scrapping and resources are optimized by promoting the circular economy.
The mayor of Development has informed that in addition to the assignment, this agreement will also allow the delivery by the Murcia Consistory of talks and conferences with qualified personnel, organization of visits and specialized guidance directed to the students of these educational centers.
"It is the first time that a collaboration agreement of this type is established that we wish to extend over time, in this way the administrations optimize resources and reduce expenses," said Mario Gomez.
Finally, it has again emphasized that "the objective of the agreement is to stimulate, enhance and improve the technical training of students and have a direct contact with professionals and work centers."
