70% of the land of the San Benito Partial Plan will go to public facilities (31/07/2019)

The municipal plenary session has given its approval to this plan that is part of the South Connection strategic project and that will mean an improvement in the traffic of Ronda Sur thanks to the opening of new roads such as the extension of Miguel Ángel Blanco avenue and General Ortín avenue

The municipal plenary session has given its approval this morning to the Partial Plan ZM-SB4 of San Benito whose objective is the residential and tertiary development in the south facade of Ronda Sur and has already been publicly exposed and has the favorable sector reports.

This Plan, which is formulated in development of the provisions of the General Plan for this sector of urbanized land sectorized adjacent to the South Round of Murcia, proposes a new urbanization of rural land defining the management of the sector for its urban transformation and identifies the new general systems that administration obtains.

Thus, 70% of the land will be used for public assignments and allocations, with a total of 56,611 square meters, while 30% is for private lucrative use (Residential 6,913 m2 with a buildable area of ​​40,625 m2 of roof and tertiary of 17,350 m2 with total buildable of 8,675 m2 of roof).

The Partial Plan proposes an access solution for road traffic while the Partial Plan ZM-Sb1 is developed, so that two links that allow the connection of Ronda Sur must be previously executed.

This will allow new roads to be opened, such as the extension of Miguel Ángel Blanco Avenue and General Ortín Avenue, improving traffic in this area.
