The Fuensanta is already in its sanctuary (31/07/2019)

The image of the Virgin of Fuensanta has returned today to its sanctuary in Algezares after spending the last weeks at the Restoration Center of the Region of Murcia.

During these days different tests have been carried out to know the status of the image and know how its restoration will be carried out.

According to the Dean of the Cathedral, Juan Tudela, until September the result of the report made by the specialists of the Restoration Center will not be known.

As planned, the Virgin of Fuensanta will leave her sanctuary on September 5, to spend the days of her feast in the Cathedral, and on September 17 she will return to Algezares as a pilgrimage.
