We can-Equo will require in the Plenary the award by EMUASA of the pending works in the collectors in the entrance area of the AVE (30/07/2019)

Given the lack of commitment and action of EMUASA, the municipal group Podemos -Equo will present to the Plenary the need to undertake the works of diversion of the collectors that hinder the progress of the underground in the city of Murcia.

This will be one of the five motions that the municipal group will take to the Plenary next July 31.

In the underground entrance works of the AVE to the city of Murcia, problems arose due to the presence of collectors owned by EMUASA that had to be diverted.

Since the need to carry out this work was confirmed until today, the works have been progressing in different areas, "without knowing the reasons why the awarding of the diversion works of these collectors has not yet occurred" .

The spokesman of the municipal group Podemos-Equo, Gins Ruiz Maci, will present in the Plenary this situation with the objective of seeking answers to this “unjustified” delay and so that the Corporation commits itself to the affected neighbors as it is “incomprehensible to us that it is precisely the performance of a joint venture with municipal participation that may cause delays in the completion of the works. ”

Therefore, as Ruiz Maci has pointed out, "we understand that this corporation must exercise extreme zeal to remove as many obstacles as can prevent or delay the continuation of the works."

The motion will ask for its debate and vote to the Plenary that information is requested from EMUASA so that on account of the reason for the delay in the adjudication of the works, it will urge the management of this company to act as quickly as possible and will remind you, In addition, any delay can seriously affect the deadlines for the underground works.

In addition to this motion, the municipal group Podemos-Equo will present four more motions.

Councilwoman Clara Martnez Baeza will urge the government team to commit to scheduling leisure activities also in the districts after finding that “the star entertainment project in Murcia these months, 'Murcia in Summer', does not have a single activity scheduled outside the urban center ”.

In addition, the councilor will also request the commitment of the Plenary to urge the Ministry of Health to end the cuts that "every summer threaten health care by the closure of consultations and hospital plants and the reduction of staff."

The group's spokesman, Gins Ruiz Maci, will take proposals to the Plenary aimed at protecting the environment and slowing down the progress of climate change.

In this sense, the councilor of Podemos-Equo will ask the corporation to declare the climate emergency in Murcia "in order to have a road map and objectives set throughout the municipality in the fight against the advance of climate change."

In addition, in the same vein, Ruiz Maci, will ask for the support in the Plenary so that the prohibition of agricultural burning is “real and effective and the City Council acts with force against this practice that considerably affects the quality of the air we breathe Murcia and Murcia. "
