The Governing Board has given the green light today to the proposal of the Department of Seniors, Disability and Development Cooperation that Paqui Pérez directs, to request the Autonomous Community for subsidies - under the State Housing Plan 2018-2021 - which are going to allow to increase the current municipal housing park on a rental basis.
The homes, financed under this State Plan, would be used for more than 25 years for rent and would be awarded according to the requirements established in the applicable municipal regulations and, in any case, respecting the limit of 2.5 of the IPREM of the people who constitute the unit of coexistence.
Disabled and elderly with mobility problems
In addition, these homes, which would have to be built following parameters of accessibility and energy savings, would be located on municipally owned land, specifically in the city of Murcia, Espinardo, Senda de los Garres and Churra;
and they would be destined to a new typology of family units, such as disabled people and the elderly with mobility problems.
