The City Council will carry out the project of remodeling the ground floor of the existing building and expansion of the new plant of the Municipal Center of
Aljucer
The current building, which is accessed by Senda Alta street, is distributed on the ground floor, which is completely remodeled interiorly.
The new projected building, on the first floor, is raised on part of the existing building for which it will be necessary to cancel the current access on the ground floor creating a new access through the square.
In the existing building, on the ground floor, are currently located the reception, a warehouse, a file, the municipal Office, the Mayor's Office, the Social Educator, the Social Care Unit and some toilets and warehouses.
After the works, a first floor will be created in which an exhibition hall, a multipurpose room and two toilets will be enabled, one of which will be adapted.
This will enable 195 square meters new, being the total surface built of 560 square meters.
This project is part of the Extraordinary Investment Plan in Pedanías, coordinated by the Department of Pedanías, Participación y Decentralización, which is managed by Marco Antonio Fernández.
The City Council will invest a maximum price of 507,868 euros and the works will be executed within a period of 10 months.
