A total of 15,500 applications have been registered to study the next academic year 2019-2020 in the public universities of the Region: University of Murcia and Polytechnic University of Cartagena.
Of them, slightly less than half, 7,200 (46'47%) come from other regions.
Almost 8,000 students have been admitted to the first list, of which 4,195 students will be able to study their first option.
In a comparison with the previous year, you can see that there are 27 degrees from the University of Murcia that grow with respect to last year, while two remain the same and 32 decrease.
Among those that grow more highlights Medicine, with 2610 applications for 200 places, ie: 290 increase over the previous year, which is equivalent to 13 applications per place.
International Relations, meanwhile, goes from 94 to 160 applications, representing a 70 percent growth, while Veterinary increases in 59 applications.
On the other hand, the new Joint Program of Official Studies, degree in Early Childhood Education and Primary Education has obtained 274 applications for the 60 places it offers for the first time.
Among the data that records statistics stand out the requests of 217 athletes of high level and high performance to study at the University of Murcia.
