The Contracting Committee, chaired by the Councilor for Development, Mario Gomez, and which has been attended by the Councilor for Citizen Security and Economic Management, Eduardo Martínez-Oliva, has proposed in his session this morning the award of three important works that they will execute in the districts of Gea and Truyols, Zeneta and Espinardo.
Thus, the proposal for the award of the project for the execution of transversal drainage works on the F19 highway in Gea and Truyols has been approved. These works will be carried out by the company Trisacor Infraestructuras y Servicios SL for an amount of 101,499 euros.
Likewise, in Zeneta, work will be carried out to adapt a room as a 24-hour study hall whose award has been proposed to Construcciones Juan Gregorio SL, with an investment of 67,124 euros.
The last proposal of award of the Contracting Committee held this morning has been the adaptation of a place as Senior Center in Espinardo to the company Hermanos Espin SLU, with an amount of 211,675 euros.
These three projects are part of the Special Plan for Investments in Districts.
Likewise, the file of the Maintenance, Conservation, Repair and Replacement Service of sidewalks and pedestrian areas of the city of Murcia has been studied, to which 9 bidders have been submitted and which has a bid amount of 2,896,204 euros.
The Contracting Committee has also opened the single file of seven other files:
- Adaptation of the existing premises as a multipurpose room in the medical office of Era Alta

As a novelty of the Contracting Committee held today, in application of the provisions of the new Law on Public Sector Contracts and using the simplified open procedure to replace minor contracts or without advertising, the awarding has been favored according to social criteria, such as favoring the labor integration of workers over 45 years of age, in some cases giving priority to this aspect over the economic offer.
It is a firm bet of this Administration for the promotion of social criteria.
