The City of Murcia, from the Department of Urbanism, Environment Water and Garden has organized the day of exchange of experiences of the Green Schools Network to be held on Friday March 29 in the Assembly Hall of the building attached to the City.
The aim is to create meetings so that teachers know the educational and multidisciplinary advantages and the didactic and pedagogical resources, which provides a sustainability project in the teaching center.
In this way, the Experiences Exchange Day is a tool for dissemination, participation and communication between the centers and between these and the City Council, making known the work done.
From the environmental education program 'Murcia, ecology of a city' seeks to promote mechanisms of participation, communication and dissemination among the centers of the municipality of Murcia involved in this network, assess and recognize the work done by schools and teachers, facilitate the exposure and discussion of the experiences developed, analyzing the results achieved and, finally, collect the contributions of the centers and incorporate them into the process of implementing the Network.

The Green Schools project has been developed for 18 years in the schools of the municipality.
32 educational centers of the municipality signed the document of creation of the Network of Green Schools of the City of Murcia to boost the educational processes directed towards sustainability and mobilize the educational community around these processes.
Last year about 8,500 students had the opportunity to work and contribute to Green Schools in the socio-environmental improvement of their center.
