The City of Murcia, through the Department of Education, Relations with Universities and Heritage, directed by Rafael Gomez, has taken advantage of the school holiday period to implement a cleanup plan in all public schools of the municipality, both neighborhoods as from districts.

The work includes the 116 public educational centers for early childhood, primary and special education.

The development of the classes in their usual schedule makes it impossible to carry out more specific maintenance work in the classrooms and common areas of school buildings, therefore, the City Council, when contracting the cleaning, also foresees these special beats to take out in the holidays.

These works affect the pavements -where wet scrubbing, scrubbing and polishing-, walls and ceilings, access to the school, tiles -furnished and disinfected-, litter bins, baseboards and doors, mirrors and windows, slates, class tables. , railings, sanitary facilities and changing rooms, drinking fountains and fountains, air extractors, elevators, cupboards, curtains and curtains, stainless steel, points of light or bars, among others.

Four companies are divided by lots cleaning the schools -Valoriza, Limcamar, TSI Levante and Ferrovial- and all of them carry out this shock plan at Christmas, in which approximately 260 workers intervene.
