The University of Murcia collaborates with other universities in the organization of the 4th edition of FilmNow.
It is a catalog of short films for film and audiovisual students in Spain that aims to carry out its national and international distribution in festivals and film markets.
Through an annual call, the FilmNow program aims to select the best short films made by film and audiovisual students and emerged from schools and universities in our country.
The ECAM promotes and manages FilmNow, a catalog of short films that aims to become the showcase for these new generations and which has the collaboration of the Autonomous University of Barcelona, ​​the Complutense University of Madrid, the University of Navarra, the University of Blanquerna, the University Jaume I and the University of Murcia.
In addition, the project has the support of the Cervantes Institute and the support of the ICAA (Institute of Cinematography and Audiovisual Arts) of the Ministry of Culture and Sports.
As in previous editions, the call for the 4th edition of FilmNow is open to students enrolled or graduates in film schools and universities with audiovisual qualifications throughout Spain.
The selected works will be present in the most important short film markets in the world such as the Short Film Corner in Cannes or Clermont Ferrand.
In addition, ECAM Distribución will take charge of the registration of the short films in national and international festivals with the aim of competing all over the world.
The registration period begins on December 18, 2018 and ends on March 1, 2019. Registration can be made through the Festhome and Movibeta platforms or at www.filmnowproject.com
