The Royal Spanish Judo Federation has awarded the Murcian judoka Mario Sierra, with the award for "Best Veteran Male Judoka of the year 2018".
This Prize is the first one that the Spanish Federation grants in the Veterans Category and the Murcian judoka is proud to receive it.
Mario Sierra, who is 53 years old, is the coach of the UCAM-Judo Club Ciudad de Murcia and has been awarded this award for his latest National and International results, as he has been World Champion in Amsterdam 2015 and also has 6 medals in European Championships both in individual category, and by National Teams.
The Murcian judoka will receive this recognition along with the other six members of the Spanish Team TM5, at the Gala held by the Royal Spanish Judo Federation in Cáceres on Saturday, December 22nd.
His main objectives of the Season are the Cto.
of Europe to be held in July in the Canary Islands and the Cto.
of the World to be held in Morocco in October.
