97 establishments of the surroundings of the burial works may receive subsidies from the City Council (19/12/2018)

Ninety-seven commercial activities of proximity in the vicinity of the works of the underground burial project have been admitted in the provisional relationship to receive aid from the City of Murcia, whose final list will be known before the end of the year.

The subsidy may be of a maximum amount of 2,000 euros.

80.17% of the applications submitted to the call -121 in total- have fulfilled the bases and have been admitted.

Twenty-four could not be accepted for five reasons:

- 6 because the request for correction in the submitted documentation has not been complied with;

- 2 because these are wholesale activities and therefore not classified as retail trade of proximity;

- 7 because it is outside the defined zoning area;

- 7 because they are not related to commercial activities;

- 2 due to late submission

The Councilor for Trade and Institutional Relations, Maruja Pelegrín, signed a decree to extend the deadline with the aim of providing all possible facilities so that these small entrepreneurs can benefit from these subsidies.

The provisional relationship has been published on the website www.murcia.es by the Department of Commerce, Organization and Institutional Relations.

Regarding the admitted interested parties, the list includes the total score assigned according to the scale of the call, 5 days being granted to the interested parties to make claims regarding the assigned score.

Before the 31st of December the call will be definitively resolved, once the absence of debts with the public administration among the admitted ones is verified.
