The Department of Economic Promotion, Culture and European Programs, directed by Jesús Pacheco, will launch a new line of work aimed at the social integration of inmates and ex-prisoners and groups in the process of social exclusion.
For this, the Governing Board of the City of Murcia has agreed to sign a collaboration agreement with the Collective Association Parenthesis, a non-profit organization that has been working in this area on a permanent basis since 1999.
The objective of the agreement is to establish the bases of cooperation in order to carry out various actions aimed at promoting the improvement of training and employability of persons deprived of their liberty.
The duration of the agreement is one year.
The City of Murcia is committed to facilitating the use of facilities to develop training actions.
It is estimated that some 50 people who would participate in training actions for employment directly benefit from the signing of this agreement.
