The Roads Demarcation, under the Ministry of Public Works, has begun the work for the installation of an elevated pedestrian crossing, with a central island, in the East access to the Espinardo Campus, next to the Myrtea Shopping Center.
Roads began work last night installation of this new pedestrian crossing after last week the Ministry of Development decided to delete the previous application of existing regulations.
The new pedestrian crossing, still marked yellow, will rise in the next few days and will be painted white.
In addition, other signaling actions are planned to improve security.
The University of Murcia is working, in coordination with the Ministry of Development and other Public Administrations, in the search for solutions to improve pedestrian and bicycle access to the Espinardo Campus.
