The 'Paseo con Sombrero' brings together more than two hundred people from different communities in the capital of Murcia (12/11/2018)

From the Plaza de la Cruz and to the street Apostles, the hat and headdress were the protagonists on Sunday in a colorful and original walk where more than two hundred people, residents of Murcia and foreigners, enjoyed together putting value on this complement.

The city of Murcia shares with the great capitals of the World the event 'Paseo con Sombrero', an initiative that pays tribute to this clothing accessory, as well as the work of the professionals who are dedicated to its design and confection.

An event that was held for the second year in Murcia, and that took place on Sunday morning with a successful influx, with the presence of the Councilor of Commerce of the City of Murcia, Maruja Pelegrín, and concentrating more than two hundred people from different cities and provinces such as Seville, Valencia, Alicante, Albacete, Almeria and other towns in the region such as Cartagena, Lorca and Yecla.

The meeting around the hat and headdress was free to participate, and consisted of a walk through the most emblematic streets of Murcia, leaving at 12.00 in the Plaza de la Cruz, passing through Trapería, the Plaza del Teatro Romea, Jabonerías y Sociedad streets, Plaza del Cardenal Belluga, until its final stop, the street Apostles, occupying key and prominent scenes of the capital, which were captured along with the looks of the attendees by the camera of the photographer Lola Salinas.

Before starting the tour, the participants received an identification badge from the organization, a symbol of their being part of the group, so they could later enjoy a Murcian appetizer on Calle Apóstoles, offered by Acho potatoes, Salzillo wineries and Pepita's Beear.

The final stop also had other surprises such as a nice photocall of natural flowers accompanied by the poster announcing the event made by the illustrator Miriam Martínez Abellán, and a car on display, model E Cabrio destapotable Mercedez-Benz Auto Classe, viniled for the occasion with reasons for funny hats and headdresses.

The City of Murcia, Murcia Commercial Area (Muác) and the Association of Hatters of Spain supported the event, which was organized by Murcian hatters Carmen Navarro and Juana Nicolás, and the platform of the Official Fashion of the Region of Murcia, Fashion Show , of the Communication and Events agency Lalumier.
