The Department of Art History of the University of Murcia has opened the registration period for the San Eloy 2018 Goldsmith Course, which will be held from November 8 to 29, framed in the festivities of San Eloy, patron of silversmiths.
The objective of the course is to analyze and deepen the study of goldsmithing, specifically of silverware and jewelery and its artistic, cultural and professional circumstances.
Among the purposes of the training is to awaken interest in research in these areas.
Throughout the days of the course, experts from various universities will give lectures on topics such as Nazari goldsmithing, the silverware collection of the Las Claras museum or the appraisal and value of jewelery, among many other topics.
