The Chair of Water and Sustainability of the University of Murcia organizes the VIII Conference on Water and Sustainability `Urban systems of sustainable drainage: challenges and opportunities for better governance of water in cities', which will take place this Friday, October 5, in the auditorium of the Moneo Building, starting at 9:30 am.
The event will be attended by Alicia Rubio, vice-chancellor of Employment, Entrepreneurship and Society of the UMU;
Antonio Javier Navarro, delegate of Urbanism, Environment, Water and Vegetable Garden of the City of Murcia;
José Albaladejo, director of Aguas de Murcia;
and Teresa María Navarro, director of the Chair of Water and Sustainability at the UMU.
The Chair of Water and Sustainability of the UMU was created with the aim of establishing a space devoted entirely to research, training and dissemination in the field of integrated management of water resources and environmental sustainability from a multidisciplinary perspective, essential for to face an adequate study of the challenges and difficulties that integrated water management poses today.
