The University of Murcia investigates the social impact that the passage of the Vuelta a España will have on San Javier (27/08/2018)

Professors and students of the research group of the Faculty of Sports Sciences of the University of Murcia are carrying out a study to determine the social impact that the passage of the Vuelta a España will have on San Javier next Thursday, August 30.

Researchers and volunteers are conducting surveys to tourists and locals to find out their opinions and perceptions about the cycling event and what it will bring to San Javier.

Researchers have installed a tent in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento in San Javier and work will continue from Monday until Thursday, the same day of the event.

In addition, on September 3, 4 and 5 the volunteers will also carry out questionnaires to the inhabitants and visitors of San Javier to know their perception after the celebration of the race.

Surveys are conducted in the morning and afternoon:

August 27, 28 and 29: From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

August 30th.

(day of the stage).

From 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

3, 4 and 5 September.

From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Those who wish to collaborate in this study can also participate by answering this questionnaire.
