The rector of the University of Murcia, José Luján, has given this Friday a diploma of recognition to the National Police for his participation in the Summer Science Campuses.
Luján has handed over the diploma to Cirilo Duran, chief of the National Police in Murcia.
The rector has assured in the act "that it is an honor to be able to make this recognition, not only for the collaboration made, but for the future collaboration commitments".
Cyril Durán, meanwhile, thanked the treatment received by the University of Murcia and said that collaborations such as the one made in the Summer Science Camps are a reflection "of our mission to serve society" and the will "to contribute our grain of sand to help improve, the police are with the University in everything they need, "he has sentenced.
The Scientific Brigade of the National Police participated in the Scientific Campus designing a workshop in which the students had to solve a crime through the clues left to them and putting into practice the forensic techniques of the Police.
Silvia Pérez Pavía, head of the Scientific Brigade of the National Police of Murcia, explained that "it has been a very positive experience that the students left very happy and we very satisfied".
All students, 4th of ESO and 1st of Bachillerato, were able to solve the crime they were facing.
