The Municipal Socialist Group has warned today that the bridge over the Aljufía ditch, which links Guadalupe, La Arboleja and La Albatalía, has been propped up for months and there is no sign of a solution, at least immediately, because there is no rehabilitation project.

In addition, for the socialist councilor and pedáneo mayor of Guadalupe, Sebastián Peñaranda, "the delay itself in restoring this infrastructure is alarming and the indignation is increasing, I believe that it is already time for a definitive solution."

After detecting numerous and important deficiencies in this bridge, and after several complaints from neighbors and representatives of the municipal boards of the districts involved, the Department of Public Works proceeded to repair, "supposedly provisional but that takes several months, consisting of placing some construction struts and some iron plates on the asphalt ", says Peñaranda, who remembers that the bridge does not remain that way.

Therefore, the council considers it urgent to undertake the complete arrangement of this bridge, which is also on a road with a lot of vehicle traffic and where there is a clear risk of accident for road traffic.
