The Governing Council has given its approval to an agreement between the Community, through the Ministry of Development and Infrastructure, and the company Transport of Travelers of Murcia SL to improve the bus transport service to users who move on lines 30 and 78, which connect the city of Murcia and districts, with a subsidy of 642,704 euros.
The agreement includes the transport services provided by these two lines, belonging to the regional concession MU-093, which extends from the center of Murcia to the districts.
Bus line 30 travels from the district of Zeneta and the center of the city, while line 78 links Secano de Torreagüera, and the university campus of Espinardo.
In addition, these services guarantee the access of citizens to the medical care provided in the hospitals of La Arrixaca and Reina Sofía in Murcia.
The provision of these services are funded by the City of Murcia through a grant under an agreement signed between both administrations for cooperation in the development and processing of necessary improvements in public transport to facilitate mobility between the city and districts.
