The initiative, which is part of the Local Strategy of the Municipal Electric Vehicle, aims to promote sustainable mobility.
The city will soon release five recharging points for electric vehicles, promoted by the Department of Urbanism, Environment and Huerta, directed by Antonio Navarro.
In this way the network of semi-fast charging points of 22Kw and free access for this type of cars is expanded, complying with the measures contemplated in the Local Strategy of the Electric Vehicle of the Municipality of Murcia.
After the participatory process that was opened for citizens to choose the best locations, the selected places are Calle Acisclo Díaz (next to Cortefiel), Gran Vía Alfonso X el Sabio (opposite Pérez Casas), Plaza Circular, Avenida Rio Segura (corner Calle Ambrosio Salazar) and Paseo de Florencia (corner with C / Dr. Mesa del Castillo).
With this action, the aim is to promote sustainable mobility in the city and, with it, to transform the vehicle fleet with clean, silent and sustainable vehicles.
ALEM, the Local Agency for Energy and Climate Change of the City of Murcia, is responsible for promoting the incorporation of policies that promote sustainable mobility and in particular, launch the 50 measures to promote electric mobility included in the Local Strategy of the Electric Vehicle.
The deadline to install the recharging points is one month.
The cost amounts to 16,552.08 euros and has been awarded to Fenie Energía SA
