Citizens has denounced the Government of José Ballesta for leaving without subsidies to the majority of associations and groups of the municipality.

"This happens," said Mario Gómez, spokesman for the formation orange, "for blocking budgets as a measure of pressure to the groups that are in the opposition."

In this way, said Gómez, most associations and groups in the municipality has been without subsidies because the PP has breached its obligations and has not published the call in a timely manner,

resulting as always, the districts and their neighbors, the most disadvantaged of this poor management of the local government.

"However," criticized the spokesman of Cs, "José Ballesta has allowed, by means of nominative subsidies, that is, by hand, that a group of elect, on a discretionary basis, can receive them;

if he continues to discriminate against Murcia in this way he does not deserve the place he occupies. "

This double measuring rod of the PP has generated discomfort among our pedants, who, in turn - informed Gómez - have received complaints from associations and groups in their areas, districts and neighborhoods because this year will not receive a euro due to irresponsible blockade of the budgets by the PP.

Faced with this situation of paralysis, the orange spokesman has demanded the mayor of Murcia to "get off the pedestal and start working what is left of the legislature for all Murcia, without making differentiations."

"We want the local government to comply with the law, and although we are out of time, we demand that José Ballesta immediately provide us with the first draft of the 2018 budget to reach an agreement for the benefit of all the neighbors, it is imperative that the Popular Party put the will to reach agreements and not to re-block budgets as it has done this year, "he concluded.
