The Young Soloists Cycle celebrates its X edition with 11 concerts of classical music in the city and pedanías (18/10/2017)

The Auditoriums of Beniaján, Cabezo de Torres, Guadalupe, La Alberca and Algezares, the Moneo building and the Circus Theater are the venues where the recitals will take place from October 20 to November 25.

On the occasion of the tenth anniversary, a book-disc has been published that compiles the entire history of the Cycle and includes a selection of 13 songs by composers murcianos interpreted by soloists of previous editions.

The Mayor of Murcia, José Ballesta, and the Councilor for Employment, Tourism and Culture, Jesús Pacheco, presented today the Cycle of Young Soloists that celebrates its tenth edition with a series of 11 concerts that will take place from October 20 to November 25 in seven different locations of the municipality, as well as the edition of a book-disc that compiles the entire history of the Cycle and includes a selection of 13 songs by composers murcian interpreted by great soloists of previous editions.

In order to reach a greater diffusion of the talent of the young Murcia musicians, this year the recitals will be developed in the five municipal auditoriums of Beniaján, Cabezo de Torres, Guadalupe, La Alberca and Algezares.

There will also be three chamber concerts in the Moneo building and the finishing touch will take place on Saturday, November 25 at the Teatro Circo de Murcia, with the interpretation of the Murcia group Cammerata (set in the framework of this Cycle) and the prestigious violinist international Wilber Aerts as guest conductor.

"A total of 71 concerts and 80 musicians from Murcia have gone through this Cycle throughout its history, many of whom are nowadays international performers, such as the oboist Miriam Olga Pastor, who is part of the Berlin Philharmonic, or Clarinetist Pedro Franco, who develops his career at the Copenhagen Symphony, "said the mayor, who added that" the aim of this artistic initiative is to bring the young students of music of our Region to direct contact with the public, as an impulse to the beginning of his professional career ".

The presentation today, which has taken place at the Teatro Romea, was attended by two representatives of the groups Ventus Novus Ensemnle and Bigbrass Quintett, the two formations that open the Cycle this Friday, which have played a piece of wind -wood.

Programming:

· On Friday, October 20, Ventus Novus Ensamble and Bigrass Quintett, in the Moneo Building.

· On Saturday, October 21, Alvaro García Ros, violist, in the Auditorium of Algezares.

· On Friday, October 27, Carlos San Frutos to the cello, in Beniaján.

· On Saturday, October 28, Javier Aguilar to the violin, in Guadeloupe.

· On Friday, November 3, Buntes Qartett Dresden, in the Auditorium of the Moneo Building.

· Next November 4, Javier Serrano on guitar, in Cabezo de Torres.

· On Friday November 10, Pedro Fernández Millán to the cello, in Guadeloupe.

· On Saturday November 11, Pablo Albarracín to the violin, in the Auditorium of Algezares.

· On Friday, November 17, the Randelos Trio, in the Auditorium of the Moneo Building.

· On Saturday, November 18, Mª Ángeles Ayala at the piano, in La Alberca.

· On Saturday, November 25, closing of the Cycle by Cammerata at the Teatro Circo.

All concerts are free with invitation until the capacity is completed, except for the day of November 25, with tickets for sale at the Teatro Circo.

The cycle is organized by the Department of Employment, Tourism and Culture of the City of Murcia with the artistic coordination of Enrique González Semitiel and Manuel de Juan.

This year, the Cycle will also serve for the debut and memory of Murcian composers such as López Villanueva, Mateo Soto and Javier Artaza.
