The Public Road Service, in collaboration with Local Police, has advised different establishments that have 48 hours to remove the chairs and tables that occupy terraces of premises that are closed for vacations.
The councilman explained that "in this way we ask for the collaboration with the people in charge of the premises to comply with the ordinance established and thus not have us to act ex officio or open a sanctioning file."
Guillén added that "the public road is everyone's and if it is not being used this furniture it is not logical to stay in the spaces intended for the pedestrian.The aim is to get a more friendly Murcia among all"
According to the 'Municipal ordinance regulating the occupation of public roads with terraces and other facilities' can not store or stack the furniture outside the authorized hours.
If the managers of the innkeepers do not pick up the furniture within 48 hours, the different items will be removed and deposited in the municipal warehouses.
