The mayor of Ciudadanos Pilar Muñoz will defend a motion in the plenary this month - next Thursday June 29 - urging the local government to initiate the procedures for the regional Assembly and the Council of Government to develop within a maximum of six months a regulation Legal framework of autonomous scope that establishes a framework of legal protection for public employees who report cases of corruption within the Public Administration.

Likewise, Muñoz will complain to the local PP that in parallel, the City of Murcia carry out the appropriate actions to put in place the procedures, ways and ways of processing the information provided by its staff or that of its autonomous agencies And entities dependent on the actions performed by senior officials or staff of the Consistory in the exercise of their duties, which could lead to malpractices or a possible crime against the Administration.

The councilor of the orange formation has stressed the need to advance in this matter in our country and in our region, and create spaces that protect the confidentiality of the complainant.

"They are certain the repairs of civil servants and public employees to denounce irregularities, at the same time that they continue exercising their work before the superiors who could have been implicated in these denunciations, without a guarantor system of protection of their working conditions", it has indicated.
