Immediate arrest at extreme risk in a case of domestic violence (23/09/2016)

The National Police, given the urgency and gravity of the facts, made a rapid deployment police search, location and arrest.

The child was reinstated to his mother

National Police agents have arrested a person suspected of a crime of ill-treatment by gender violence.

In yesterday a woman himself at offices of the District Police Station San Andrés in order to seek police assistance.

Mrs. reported that four years ago started a relationship with a man of Moroccan nationality and 27 years old;

fruit of that union had a son two years old.

In early September this relationship broke up and since then was harassed and threatened by her former partner.

Yesterday this guy joined in the address of the complainant and, after threatening with a knife, the victim in an unguarded moment of her attacker, could take refuge in his room;

his former partner took their son and took him from home.

From the moment the National Police became aware of these facts was launched a protocol that began with the taking of testimony of the victim.

Then the risk assessment of this case of domestic violence was carried out and was obtained extreme risk being Mrs. guarded by police officers.

Given the urgency and seriousness of the facts was launched a search and location of the perpetrator and the child, which led to the deployment of police officers Group of the Judicial Police Commissioner.

Hours later proceeded to arrest the aggressor in the vicinity of the home of the victim.

At that time the arrested was carrying her son who has been given to his mother in police custody.

Later victim and arrested separately, have been attended by the Unit Family-Women, UFAM, the Provincial Brigade of the Judicial Police, to carry out all necessary steps and set of protocol

This rapid intervention has been developed by members of the Police District of San Andrés and supplemented by UFAM, all belonging to the Police Headquarters of Murcia.
