Murcia will host from October 18 to November 22 the XII edition of the Young Soloists Cycle.

The Councilor for Culture and Heritage Recovery, Jesús Pacheco, explained that "the programming of the Young Soloists Cycle throughout the previous 11 editions and in a continuity plan, is considered as a reference activity in specialized musical training , in conservatories, schools, academies and other places of authorized delivery. "

In addition, the cycle is a model of success in the promotion of young talents from Murcia or related to Murcia, "added Pacheco.

Thus, in this edition there will be a total of 29 performers who will star in 11 concerts.

The 8 selected soloists will perform in the auditoriums that will be part of the 2019 edition of the trombone, flute, double bass, piano, cello, mandolin and plectrum and violin instruments.

With some of them they will perform their 6 companions.

The soloists selected are Carolina Santiago Martínez (Piano), Pablo Alcántara Martínez (Flute), Ana Juanals Bermejo (Plectro), Silvia Gallego Sánchez (Double Bass), Mª José Martínez García (Cello), José Alberto Del Cerro Cano (Piano), Santiago Navarro Cuello (Trombón) and Judit Agulló Sandoval (Violin)

Three extraordinary concerts will also be held in which 15 performers will participate. An exceptional concert will be held on the river crossing of Murcia Río next to the Malecon on Sunday, October 20, an intercultural production of percussion and stage.

Also in the Casino a concert of the winners will be held in the contest of the Conservatory of Music of Murcia, and another closing that will coincide with the commemoration of the feast of Santa Cecilia, on November 22, at the Real Casino de Murcia.

In these eleven previous editions more than 100 concerts have been held in which 218 performers and 23 composers have participated.
