The three young spaces of the municipality received a visit of a total of 35,201 people in the 2018/2019 academic year, of which 10,637 were direct participants (enrolled in courses and workshops and organizers-creators of artistic and cultural events), and 24,564 attendees to solidarity, artistic and cultural events.
The most visited center has been La Nave de Puente Tocinos, with 20,766, followed by 585m2 with 7,055 and El Palmar with 6,380.
In total, 759 activities have been organized, with 294 days of opening in the total of the course, and there have been 215 associations and groups participating in the programs of the centers.
The participants, whose average age is 24 years old, have rated the activities and centers with a 4, 64 out of 5.
The Councilor for Sustainable Mobility and Youth, Rebeca Pérez, explained that these numbers of attendees and their assessment of the centers encourage us to continue working on the empowerment of these centers that has already become reference centers for our young people to enjoy responsible leisure. "
The objectives of these facilities are as follows:
- Encourage participation, supporting the operation and activities of groups, groups and associations of the municipality that act in the field of youth, solidarity and volunteering.
- Open dissemination and promotion channels to young people in different fields of culture and youth creation: music, performing arts, photography, visual arts, audiovisual, comic, design ...
- Provide resources and services for the training and education of young people: study and training center, consulting and advice, youth information point, use of new communication technologies ...
- To promote the use of creative and educational leisure, using leisure time as a fun and, at the same time, formative period in healthy values ​​and activities.
