The International University of the Sea organizes the course 'Positive psychology and education: the challenge of the 21st century', which will take place from 1 to 3 July in the auditorium of the Luis Vives building of the Espinardo Campus.
During these days, attendees will receive tools so that, in a creative and effective way, they can solve situations in teaching, as well as in the practice of physical and mental health, in addition to learning applicable strategies in both work and personal life.
In childhood and school age, emotional development is closely related to socio-educational experiences in the classroom.
Numerous investigations indicate how the stimulation of emotional abilities in the early age favors the level of personal and interpersonal welfare of the students, which materializes in the construction of cognitive, psychological and social resources.
This formative activity will try to make known the repercussions and applicabilities of emotional intelligence, teaching to design, coordinate, implement and evaluate activities in this regard.
The course is aimed at pedagogues, psycho-pedagogues, psychologists, teachers, Secondary teachers, workers and social educators, as well as health personnel, socio-cultural animators or leisure and free time instructors.
