The Governing Board has approved the assignment to Iberdrola of the use of public municipal land on which the transformation centers provided for in the Urbanization Project of the Single Action Unit of the Partial Plan PI-Pn1 of El Puntal have been built. .
In this way, one more step is taken so that the burial of the high and medium voltage towers located in Los Rectores begins next year.
To carry out these works, it has been necessary to previously underground the 132kV lines passing through El Palmar and build a new electrical Substation in Ronda Sur to provide power to the municipality of Murcia and download the Espinardo substation.
Both works are already finished.
Currently, work is being done on the connection of the new Ronda Sur substation to the center of the city since, without these new lines, the Espinardo substation can not be electrically discharged and can not be buried in Los Rectores and La Costera.
Once these works are completed, the three lines of 132 kilovolts, 66 kilovolts, and the twelve 20-kilovolt lines found in this area of ​​El Puntal can be buried.
